The Nadur Local Council has said that works on the planned Isopu Gardens in in the village are progressing.
The said that the Ministry for Gozo have applied for the MEPA permit in order to restore the former quarry at the village into a family park. Upon approval from MEPA, the 22,300m2 area will be planted with trees and will be transformed into an ideal site for picnicking and relaxing for the entire family.
The former quarry has been filled and is currently undergoing levelling works in order to restore the land to the natural contours of the area.

From time to time we read about planting trees from the Gozo Ministry this time plantation is going to be at a Nadur quarry ,,,,, how about the 5000 citrus trees at Ghajn Qasab Valley that are the living of several Nadur Farmers and their families?
IT will be much better and convenient to safeguard Ghajn Qasab orchards from being toxin with chemical leaks that in the coming years will come from an useless project that is constructed on the spring water that this fruit trees get their nutrition day by day.
Great news from the Nadur Local Council !!! They are always showing off how they planted flowers and trees ta San Blas and show off about Isopu Tower and this time progressing gardens too.
Let me remind Nadur Mayor Portelli that its not just San Blas that is the only place at her village, there is Ta Hida too at Nadur and she should look after these people because they are Naduren too.
First of all take care of Ta Hida farmers and their lands remember that these farmers work hard at their fields and you should help them to save their aquifer of gold spring water.
