GO, has said that they have again introduced an attractive offer of free weekend calls from the customer’s mobile for free as a special treat for summer. Weekend mobile calls to any GO mobile and GO fixed phone number are free with every spend of €5 or more in mobile usage from the customer’s mobile between Monday and Friday. The offer kicked off on 9 June and runs to 1 August. The offer is available exclusively to GO mobile Pay As You GO customers. In order to be eligible, customers must subscribe to the offer by sending a blank SMS – free of charge – to 50700237.

Speaking about the free weekend calls offer, Sandro Gauci, Senior Manager, Residential Sales at GO said, “We are delighted to be giving customers the chance to enjoy one of the most popular summer offers ever on mobile – an offer that further underpins our ongoing commitment towards giving customers the best service in the market at unbeatable rates.”

They said that customers subscribing to the offer get the chance to benefit from 100 free mobile minutes towards any GO mobile and GO fixed line number during week-ends for the stipulated period up to the weekend ending 1 August 2010. Eligible customers reaching the required spend threshold will be notified that they are eligible for the offer. Rewards of free minutes will be assigned during the week once the customer reaches the required spend threshold and the last bundle of free minutes will be assigned by 10.00 hours on Saturday morning.

“Once subscribed to the offer, the customer will need to spend €5 or more in mobile usage between Monday (05:00 hours) and Saturday (05.00 hours) to benefit from free week-end calls towards any GO mobile and GO fixed line number during Saturday and Sunday of the same week. The free talk-time has to be utilised during the week-end for which it has been assigned and any free unutilised talk-time will be lost.”

“After free mobile minutes are provided, eligible customers may check their remaining free talk-time balance by sending a blank SMS to 50700247 at a charge of €0.05c. Free mobile minutes can be queried at any particular weekend occurring during the offer period. Meanwhile, customers may check their mobile usage at any point in time during the offer period simply by sending a blank SMS to 50700240 free of charge.”

“New customers who opt to join GO now get to enjoy thousands of free calls and SMS – a chance that will undoubtedly enhance their summer experience. Subscribers who connect to GO till 31 July and top up with €10 benefit from 1000 free SMS to all GO mobile numbers.
