GO has said that their customers are now being given a unique chance to participate in a competition and win two match tickets of their choice – either the Barclays Premier League or Italian Serie A for season 2010/11 that as of August, GO customers can enjoy live and exclusively on GO sports channel. Besides the football match tickets, the prize covers free airline tickets, including taxes and fuel charges, for two persons and free accomodation – also for two – with a maximum of two-night stays.
The competition is open to both new and existing customers who subscribe to the GO sports Premium monthly and/or yearly package before the 31 August 2010. Meanwhile, customers who join up to GO sports Premium on a monthly basis must commit themselves to retaining the package for a minimum period of 3 months. Existing GO sports Premium customers are automatically eligible to participate in the competition. A total of 5 winners will benefit from the super prize comprising the trip of a life-time to watch amazing sports action at its very best. Names of participants will be drawn at random each week during the month of August, and prospective winners will be contacted by phone and will need to answer a skill-based question correctly, the company said.
Speaking about this newest competition, Annette Bezzina, GO’s Residential Segment Manager said, “We are delighted to be giving our customers – football fans in particular – the chance in a lifetime. All they have to do is simply become part of the best sports network and subscribe to the GO sports Premium package before the end of August 2010.”
“With GO sports, customers get the best value for money in terms of content with an even wider selection of top notch sporting events provided through our state-of-the-art digital tv platform. In addition, GO has acquired rights to air exclusively the Italian club channels of Juventus, Inter, Milan and Roma and in fact has just launched the transmission of Inter Channel, Juventus Channel and Roma Channel. Milan Channel will start broadcasting in the coming days.”
“The addition of these channels further enhances GO’s sports offering and confirms GO’s position as the leading distributor of sports content. GO sports tv subscribers already enjoy the benefits of GO’s exclusive rights to the English club channels – Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool. In addition our customers are looking forward to the English Premier League and Italian Serie A that GO sports will broadcast live and exclusively in the coming days. All English and Italian sports enthusiasts can now watch their favourite games and matches to their hearts’ delight – thanks to GO sports,” she said.
GO concluded by saying that customers can switch now for free to the best sports network – exclusive home to Barclays Premier League, Serie A – and much more! GO sports is available for only €19.99 a month when subscribing for a minimum period of twelve consecutive months, whilst new customers also benefit from 2 free set-top boxes and free installation. GO sports is available as an optional add-on to the Silver and Gold tv packages.
