The Government has announced that the State Funeral of President Emeritus Guido de Marco will be held on Monday afternoon, the16th of August. The funeral mass will be held at St. John’s Co-Cathedral and will be headed by Mgr.Paul Cremona, Archbishop of Malta
The President will lie in state at the President Palace in Valletta, on Saturday, Sunday and Monday morning.
The Government has declared Friday, Saturday and Monday as days of national mourning

Rest in Peace Dear friend of Sannat, We shall all miss you, specially that smile to everyone after the usual 0930 mass on Sundays. You were a great statesman that the whole of Malta and Gozo are proud of.
