The cruise ship Club Med II called at Mgarr Harbour today, enabling the passengers on board to visit to Gozo, many of whom decided to take advantage of the variety of organised tours on offer.

The Club Med II is a five-masted computer-controlled sailing ship, which combines the power of seven computer-operated sails with more traditional diesel-electric power. It utilises four diesel generators which provide the power for two large electric motors.

The Club Med II is one of the largest sailing cruise ships in the world, accommodating up to 386 passengers and around 215 members of crew.
