The National and Regional Celebrations Committee within the Ministry for Gozo has announced that for those who may be interested, about an aid scheme being launched in connection with static or mechanical cribs exhibited during the Christmas period 2010.

The Cribs will be open to the public betweenFriday, the 17th of December 2010 and Sunday, the 2nd of January 2011. The cribs (both static and mechanical) must be no less than two metres wide and one metre in depth. The mechanical cribs should include at least four mechanical figures. All cribs will be classified by members of a jury who will visit the cribs during exhibition days.

Anyone interested should complete an application form which can be collected from the Office of Culture. The completed applications should be returned to the same office, in the Banca Giuratale, Independence Square, Victoria, Gozo, by not later than 4.00pm, Friday, the 29th of October 2010.
