Radju Lauretana organized an Open Day on Sunday with the aim of collecting funds for the new bells which will shortly adorn Ghajnsielem Parish Church.

Visitors were able to visit the new parish library adjacent to the radio studios, which will soon be completed, and were shown a film about the manufacture of the new bells. A total of over €4,000 was collected.

Live programmes included a direct link with Sydney One Radio. Frank Delia Managing Director of Sydney One, Lelio Spiteri Director of Radju Lauretana, Laurie Anne Camilleri presenter and guest Mgr Gorg Bezzina participated in this special programme.
