There has been no news so far from the search for missing British man, Geoffrey Morgan. A large turnout of around 50 members of the public, as well as a group from the police and Civil Protection Department, the Emergency Response and Rescue Corps, responded with twenty volunteers. including its Bicycle Response Unit and ambulance, went out in a search party this morning.  A second search is starting at 4pm from the heliport. Geoffrey went missing from Ghajnsielem a week ago yesterday. The area searched concentrated on the triangle from Xewkija to Qala to Ghanjsielem.

This dearly loved husband and father from England was on holiday with his family in Ghajnsielem when he got lost. He was spotted on CCTV going towards the Xewkija traffic lights on Sunday, the 5th of June and was seen again in the area on Monday, the 6th .

Geoffrey’s family have asked for everyone to keep looking for him, circulate his details to others and particularly to search their fields, outbuildings etc in case he is taking shelter in them.

He disappeared on Sunday 5th June around 11am. He is 80, looks well but is very il with dementia and therefore he needs to be found as soon as possible.

The CCTV near the traffic lights shows that he was wearing a striped red and grey t-shirt with dark green shorts and sandals on the day he disappeared.

Geoffrey is friendly, kind and chatty and has been visiting Gozo for the last 40 years, visiting his family who live here.
