Last Friday, in celebration of Victoria Day, the Victoria Local Council organised a concert which was held at Independence Sqare in Victoria,

The concert performed by the La Stella Band, under the direction of Prof.. Joseph Vella, was entitled ‘The Best of The Best … By the best.’

The Minister for Gozo, Giovanna Debono, attended the celebration, during which Mr Anton Farrugia and Mr Alvin Scicluna were both conferred the Gieh il-Belt Victoria award.

Frederick Azzopardi, Parliamentary Assistant within the Ministry for Gozo also attended the event.
