‘Unheard Melodies’ from the Gozo Creative Theatre Club

In collaboration with the Victoria International Arts Festival 2011, the Gozo Creative Theatre Club will be presenting ‘Unheard Melodies’ by Norman Beim. This short play is based on the relationship between Bernard Shaw and his wife, the story of a marriage with a rather strange arrangement.

The Gozo Creative Theatre Club is an established drama group that is mostly known for its experimental theatre performances. Previous productions include The Vagina Monologues, Cindy – the Musical, In Holland Stands a House, Kickass Plays, Confusions, The Good Doctor, Dear Nobody, The Second Coming of Joan of Arc, the Penis Monologues, Teechers, Ashes to Ashes and Trojan Women. Julian Bernard and Evelyn Bernard will be portrayed by George Camilleri and Marlene Saliba, while Julia Camilleri will play Clara Shaw and George Sacco will be George the Butler. The artistic direction of this performance is by George Mizzi.

‘Unheard Melodies’ will be staged at the Aula Mgr. G Farrugia, St. George’s Basilica, Victoria, Gozo, on Wednesday the 6th of July 2011 from 8pm onwards.

Entrance is free. Seating for this performance will be on a first come first served basis.
