The Minister for Gozo, Giovanna Debono, addressed a meeting that was held recently for operators of tourist establishments in Marsalforn. During the meeting details were given of plans to restructure and improve this popular resort.
Various officials attended the meeting including some from the Ministry for Gozo, the Parliamentary Secretariat for Small Businesses and Land, the Parliamentary Secretariat for Tourism, Environment and Culture, as well as the Chief Executive of the Gozo Tourism Association and the representative from the MTA in Gozo.
The Minister gave details about the landscaping project in Il-Menqa in Marsalforn Bay, which includes the rebuilding of the breakwater for storm protection.
A question and answer session was held where members of the audience were given a chance to speak to the Minister and officials present.
