Arriva spokesperson Piers Marlow said this morning that, “additional drivers continue to start driving duties therefore services should improve again today.”

“We will be working to improve frequency where we can, however passengers should note that service continues to be disrupted by the reduced driver numbers so will not be running according to schedule in all cases. There may be some localised issues – we apologise for the disruption and I can assure you that our team is continuing to take action to address issues as they arise, and are working hard to improve your services.”
