The Minister for Gozo, Giovanna Debono, presided and presented certificates at the graduation ceremony organised by the Sir M.A. Refalo Centre for Further Studies, situated in the heart of Victoria.

Approximately 260 students completed their post-secondary studies. The various courses taken by the students will help them to conitune with their tertiary studies at the University or other educational and vocational institutions.

A minutes silence was observed as a tribute to the memory of Mr. Paul Spiteri, who was an English teacher at the centre for several years.

At the end of the ceremony the Minister for Gozo, inaugurated a new and more secure entrance to the centre for both students and staff.

Chris Said, Parliamentary Secretary for Consumers, Fair Competition, Local Councils and Public Dialogue and HE Mgr Mario Grech, Bishop of Gozo, were also present for the ceremony.
