The Mater Dei Hospital has issued a statement this morning saying that the medical condition of Mrs. Mary Fenech Adami is continuing to be critical with further deterioration.

Mrs Mary Fenech Adami sustained a heart attack and collapsed on the 2nd of July, while at the wedding reception of the Prime Minister’s son, at the Girgenti Palace.

The former first lady, who is 77, is being treated at the Intensive Care Unit at the Mater Dei Hospital.
