All across the globe, October is breast cancer awareness month, Kyphi health and beauty salon in Fgura is holding a Pink Party this coming Sunday, the 23rd of October, to raise funds for The Action For Breast Cancer Foundation. In return for a small donation, attendees can expect an action packed, fun-filled day, kicking off at 9.30am with a makeup demonstration.

At 11.30, the salon will be offering free massages and there’s a choice between a Tui-Na massage by Mike, or a lymph drainage session by Joyce, and at the same time, Priscilla Edwards will be face-painting for the kids. After lunch-time refreshments, there will be a talk by Tania Farrugia, a patient who is currently undergoing treatment for breast cancer and at 3pm, a variety of stalls will be handing out gifts and guests will be able to buy a wide range of handmade goods, cupcakes, hand-painted glass, beauty products and costume jewellery. To round off the day, raffle winners will be announced and presented with their prizes, and every attendee will receive a gift.

Throughout the day, healthy herbal drinks and snacks will be available.
