With the Gozo Carnival becoming increasingly popular, attracting many Maltese and tourists over to spend the weekend here, Gozo Channel has announced that it will be making extra trips to cater for the increase in demand.

The company said that it will be performing an extra trip at 2.30am on the nights of Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Furthermore, a vessel will be on stand-by in the early hours of the morning in order to perform extra unscheduled trips should the need arise.

All three ferries will be in use during the weekend, and shuttle services will also operate if required.
