Cardinal Francesco Monterisi, archpriest of San Paolo Fuori le Mura Basilica in Rome, paid his first visit to Gozo.
The Cardinal was accompanied by Apostolic Nuncio Tommaso Caputo and Fr Filippo Colnago, Secretary, he visited Ta’ Pinu Sanctuary and the Cathedral in Victoria.
The Cardinal was also invited to lunch at the Good Shepherd Pastoral Centre in Victoria on the sixth anniversary of Mgr Grech’s episcopate, where he met several priests.
