Cardinal Angelo Bagnasco, Archbishop of Genoa and president of the Italian Episcopal Conference (CEI) accompanied by 30 priests from his diocese, recently visited Ta’ Pinu Sanctuary where he led a concelebrated Mass.
The Cardinal also visited the Cathedral in Victoria and Xewkija Parish Church.
Cardinal Bagnasco called on H.E. Mgr. Mario Grech, Bishop of Gozo, at the Curia in Victoria, where various priests shared their experiences about their pastoral roles in the diocese.
At the end of the meeting, Bishop Grech presented a memento of a silver icon of Our Lady of Ta’ Pinu to Cardinal Bagnasco.
