The annual school exhibition presented by the Wistin Camilleri Gozo Centre for Art & Crafts in Ghajnsielem, is now open at the Ministry for Gozo Exhibition Hall, Victoria.

The exhibiton has on display various works of of art produced by participants currently attending courses at the Centre and attracts a considerable number of local visitors together with many others who cross over from the mainland as well as tourists who are on the island.

Among the subjects featured is art in its various media, beading techniques, curtain making, soft furnishing, embroidery, furniture making, glass gilding, gold and silversmith, lace, lathe and milling techniques – wood and metal, metal works, papier mache designs, parchment crafts, photography, pottery, ceramics and mosaic, wood and stone sculpture, sugar crafts, thread filigree, traditional fishing pots and cane works and wood crafts.

The exhibiton was inaugurated by the Minister for Gozo, Giovanna Debono and will remain open to the public until Thursday, the 10th of May, 2012, from 8am till 5pm, excluding weekends and public holidays.
