The Directorate Lifelong Learning within the Ministry of Education is holding an information meeting with regards to the STEPS and MGSS scheme.
The schemes’ main objectives are to improve the quality and relevance of the education system; to reduce skills mismatches particularly within higher value added and expanding economic sectors; and to support further research in science and technology as well as Information and Communication Technologies.
Students may apply under one of these categories depending on the nature of their intended studies.
The Strategic Educational Pathway Scholarships (STEPS) supports postgraduate students in pursuing a Master or Doctorate in Malta or abroad. It is similar to the MGSS Postgraduate scheme, however offering more scholarships.
Interested candidates are invited to attend for the information meeting on Friday, the 11th of May, 2012 at 6.00pm.
The meeting is being hosted at the Gozo Centre for Art & Crafts, JF De Chambray Street, Ghajnsielem, Gozo.
