The University of Malta has said today that 88 Gozitan University students off 71 courses will sit for their exams at the Gozo Campus in June.
The Minister for Gozo, announced the pilot project last week, saying that for the first time Gozitan University students will be able to choose to do their exams on Gozo itself, by virtue of a pilot project managed by the University of Malta in collaboration with the Ministry for Gozo.
The Minister had also said that the Ministry “is committed to working to encourage more Gozitan students to continue their studies after completing secondary and post-secondary courses in Gozo.”
There are now 1000 Gozitan students pursing courses at the Universtiy of Malta.
The University said that all the Gozitan students who are following those courses had been informed.
