18th Annual Nadur Agricultural Show.
On the occasion of l-Imnarja the Nadur Local Council organised the 18th edition of the Agricultural Show at Archpriest Martin Camilleri Square.
Around 170 exhibitors took part in the show, which was opened by Family Minister Chris Said. On display were agricultural products, handicrafts, traditional food and machinery associated with farming.
Taking part in the show were the Mnarja, Andar and Ciangura folk groups, the Mnarja Band and the Hamrun Boy Scouts. Soprano Georgina Gauci gave a concert of Maltese and Neapolitan songs, accompanied on the piano by Mro. Antoine Theuma.
Nadur archpriest Mgr Jimmy Xerri blessed the animals and the agricultural produce, while Nadur Mayor Charles Said presented mementos to all participants. A car show was also set up in the square.
Minister for Gozo, Giovanna Debono also visited the Agricultural Show.
