The Wistin Camilleri Gozo Centre for Art and Crafts in Ghajnsielem is introducing a number of new courses for applicants who may wish to pursue a different course.

These courses include a variety of traditional crafts and other modern techniques at different levels in different areas such as art, wood and metal works, pottery, glassworks, gold & silver smith, papier maché and design.

In view of the forthcoming opening of scholastic year 2012 – 2013, the Centre is receiving applications for Blacksmith (using traditional techniques), Calligraphy, Fibber Glass (including replacement of car and motor panels, and different boat models from fiber glass), History & Art appreciation (also available for History A level), Illustrating children’s books and novels (Writing and illustrating children’s books and novels), Metal Pipe Bending & Fitting Techniques (including railings and spiral cases), Stainless Steel Fabrication Skills (interior and exterior home artistic works), Traditional fishing pots and cane works (including basketry), Wood craft – Frames & interior decorations (including clock cases), and Wood veneering.
