Melita has announced that its TV customers can now enjoy access to two new Sony Pictures Television (SPT) Networks channels offering a wide array of movies and TV series such as Las Vegas, The Tudors and Hustle together with favourite movies all day long.
The company said that “Sony Entertainment Television (Melita Channel 802) offers quality entertainment from engaging comedies and dramas to compelling movies aimed primarily at a female audience and their partners. Sony Movie Channel (Melita Channel 805) is a new contemporary library movie channel, offering films from the 80s, 90s and 00s. Sony Movie Channel is the second Sony branded channel to launch in the UK, joining Sony Entertainment Television which launched in 2011.”
Film titles scheduled on Sony Movie Channel in October range from family favourite, The Water Horse, through to action blockbuster, Vantage Point and “Man in the Iron Mask” starring Leonardo di Caprio.
Movies4Men, recently acquired by SPT, is also part of the movie channel line-up, featuring classic war movies, westerns and action movies.
