This morning there was a special event around the Nobel Peace Prize in the European Parliament’s plenary chamber in Strasbourg.
Larkin Zahra, the 23-year-old Maltese laureate of the Facebook contest ‘Peace, Europe, Future,’ was introduced by the President of the European Parliament, Martin Schulz and was one of the 20 EU citizens who received a symbolic Nobel Peace Prize certificate.
He is seen with Mr Schulz and the President of the European Commission José Manuel Barroso about four minutes into the video.
