Rev. Fr. Chevalier Anthony Zammit Prior for Peru, with the assitance of the Confraternity of the Knights of St. Peter and St. Paul organised a Christmas lunch for the elderly of Santa Rosa in Peru.

The mission of Santa Rosa is sponsored by the Confraternity of the Knights of St. Peter and St. Paul which helps with this celebration each year.

During the celebration the Rev. Chevalier Fr. Anthony Zammit, who is from Gozo, also conducted an investiture ceremony of the new Knights and Dames, the ceremony was carrried out in Spanish and Quechua.

Rev. Chevalier Fr. Anthony Zammit celebrated his 25th anniversary in the priesthood this year. Fr. Anthony served more than 10 years as a Hospital Chaplain in Gozo General Hospital and three years in the missions of Peru. He was instrumental for the building of a retreat house in Arequipa and now is building a Church and a multifunction hall in Santa Rosa in the Selva of Peru. He has many good projects and slowly his work is becoming known amongst the Maltese.
