After weeks of hard work, Ghajnsielem’s Radio Lauretana has announced that is is launching its new festa schedule, which is to kick off is on Sunday the 3rd of August. Broadcasting will then stop again on Tuesday the 2nd of September.

The radio station said that the schedule of programmes are rich, varied and entertaining, all the result of voluntary work. A big thank you therefore goes out to all the crew, board of directors, presenters and technicians.

A radio play ‘Ghajnsielem u l-Poplu Tieghu’, penned by Lino Grech and directed by Joanne Debrincat will be aired every Tuesday at 12.15pm. Thanks was also extended to all those involved in the recording and editing of this historical radio play, which is based on the writings of the late Joe Scicluna.

The schedule will include the live transmission of the feast of Our Lady of Loreto celebrated in the parish of Ghajnsielem on the 31st of August.
