Maltese diving industry promoted at specialised fair in Paris

A number of Maltese diving schools together with the Malta Tourism Authority (MTA) representative in Paris participated in the specialised Diving Fair which was held in Paris recently.

The Ambassador of Malta to France, Pierre Clive Agius visited officially the fair and met with the Maltese participants. The Ambassador also had the opportunity to address publicaly the President and the members of Fédération Francaise d’Etudes et de Sports sous-Marins who are co-organisers of this fair.

The Ambassador expressed his pride that Malta has become a prevelaged partner of the Federation. He said that Malta offered a very high quality product which is recognised worldwide, a product that made Malta an important diving destination in the Mediterranean.

The specialised magazine ‘Subaqua’ which is a monthly publication of the Federation, carried a three four page full colour reportage on Diving in Malta and in Gozo.

The Salon de plongee is one of the biggest fairs in Europe.
