Fr. Anthony Zammit is a Gozitan a Missionary Priest who spends much of his time in Santa Rosa, Peru. Fr. Anthony served more than 10 years as a Hospital Chaplain at the Gozo General Hospital and three years in the missions of Peru.

He was instrumental for the building of a retreat house in Arequipa and is building a Church and a multifunction hall in Santa Rosa in the Selva of Peru.

In 2012 the High School ‘Colegio Anthony Zammit’ was opened and has made a huge difference to the young people of that area.

Fr. Anthony is now back in Gozo for a few weeks and is aiming to raise funds towards the building of a respite centre and one school classroom for disable people in Santa Rosa.

So, on Sunday the 24th of March Fr Anthony Zammit is going to make a sponsored, 4200 metre skydive. He admits that at his age of 57 it’s a very daring thing to do, but he says that the children of Santa Rosa are praying for his safe landing.
