This Saturday don’t miss out on Malta’s national rugby team taking on Switzerland with a World Cup Qualifying place at stake. Follow the home match live on Melita’s local sports channel – Malta Stars (channel 614).

The live broadcast will start at 1.30pm with a pre-match programme hosted by Sandro Micallef who will then join Charles Vella for the live commentary.

Apart from promising a great sporting event, the match is expected to attract great crowds and rugby enthusiasts along with many people who just want to cheer the Malta national team. The South End Core will be orchestrating the entertainment and livening up the crowds to boost up the morale for the Malta team.

This is the second time since National Rugby Director and National Coach, Damian Neill’s took over the team, that Malta will be taking on Switzerland. The Swiss had narrowly lost to Malta on their home turf in 2005 but recently Switzerland impressed against current league leaders, the Netherlands, giving Neill and Team Manager Steve Busuttil tactical and logistical headaches.
