The Malta Environment and Planning Authority (MEPA) has said that it wishes to advise all applicants and the public, that in the light of Government’s commitment to review the fees payable on development applications, all planning applications which have not yet been validated, will, with immediate effect, have their processing temporarily suspended.

This process will resume as soon as the revised fees are published in the coming days. Mepa added that it will however continue with the processing and validation of any application should any applicant wish to validate such application prior to the publication of the revised fees.
