The Gozo University Group (GUG) has said that it would like to express its satisfaction at the plans for the island of Gozo, which were included in the 2013 budget which were presented by the government last night,

GUG said that it feels that the new proposals, which include a cruise liner terminal and yacht marina to be built on Gozo, the development of a business centre, introduction of a domestic tourism scheme and the proposed casino in Gozo, are all vital to sustaining and developing the quality of life of the island, besides creating the career opportunities which so many young Gozitans strive for.
