The Police on Monday, arraigned under arrest 19 year old Victoria resident Kevin Vella.
Vella appeared before duty Magistrate Dr J Demicoli at the Gozo Court, for having, on the 15th of June and before this date, been in possession of cocaine, cannabis resin and ecstasy pills. He was also accused for trafficking such substances.
Vella pleaded not guilty to the charges brought against him. He was granted bail on the conditions of signing at the Police Staion, a personal guarantee of €6,000 and a deposit of €1,000.
Prosecution was led by Inspector B C Spiteri.

Possession of cocaine, cannabis resin and ecstasy pills, and also trafficking. Wow! If you get 10 years in jail for a couple of cannabis plants I guess he will be drawing the pension by the time he gets out. Then again maybe not…..
