Nadur and Mdina are today celebrating the Feast of St Peter and St Paul, known as Mnarja. This morning in Nadur many hundreds of people of all ages enjoyed the popular band march that made its way from the main square and through the streets of Nadur, with the participation of Ghaqda Muzikali Sant’ Elena of Birkirkara and the Zejtun Band.This popular feast can be traced back the 15th century and has always been considered as a special day for everyone, particularly for the peasants who used to have their annual break during this time of the year.
