Vodafone pre-paid and post-paid customers travelling to EU, Switzerland and Turkey and who currently take advantage of the Traveller Plan will now be updated on the new Vodafone Traveller plan.

The company said that for €3 daily, clients will get a daily bundle of free unlimited incoming calls, a number of minutes in calls to Malta, an amount of SMS to any destination, an amount of Data-on-Your-Mobile and standard local rates for out of bundle usage.

“With Vodafone, customers can have peace of mind and get in touch with their family and friends easily when travelling abroad ,” said Sandro Pisani, Head of Marketing at Vodafone Malta. “We are giving our customers more value for their money while they can always share memorable moments with their loved ones. In this way Vodafone customers can travel across Traveller countries and use their smartphones as though they were still at home.”

Vodafone said that when opting for Vodafone Traveller, customers on NON-RED Plans and Prepaid plans will get a daily bundle of 30 minutes in calls to Malta, 30 SMS to any destination and 30MB of Data-on-Your-Mobile. They will also carry their local standard rates for out of bundle usage.

Vodafone post-paid customers can apply for this offer by calling 247 or by visiting one of Vodafone’s retail outlets. The offer is available on the last issued Smartphone plans and Vodafone RED Plans, whilst all Vodafone pre-paid customers can apply for this offer by sending an SMS with the word TRAVEL, calling 247 or by visiting one of Vodafone’s retail outlets across Malta and Gozo.
