Art Club 2000 will be holding its annual collective art exhibition at the Cittadella Centre for Culture and Art, in Victoria Gozo, which will be officially inaugurated by the Minister for Gozo, Dr Anton Refalo, this Saturday, the 3rd of August at 7.30pm.

Over 61 participants are displaying their works of art including paintings in different media, sculpture and photography.

The Club is a voluntary organisation based in Mellieha with the primary aim of promoting and raising awareness and appreciation of arts and crafts amongst people of all ages. The scope is to teach, educate and encourage artistic talents and interests.

During the past 14 years the club has become well established in Mellieha and the surrounding areas following a number of initiatives that were taken by the club committee.

Art Club 2000 also organises several exhibitions during the year which give both relatively new as well as professional talents the opportunity of exhibiting their work to a wider audience.

The Exhibition will be open till the 28th of August and the entrance is free. Opening hours: Monday – Friday 10am – 3pm, Saturday & Sunday 11am – 4pm.
