A 23-year old French woman sustained injuries this afternoon after she jumped from the Azure Window at Dwejra.
The Police were called to the scene at around 5.00pm and a rescue operation was undertaken by the Police force and the Civil Defence.
The young woman was transported to the Gozo General Hospital, where she was later certified to be suffering from grievous injuries, but is not in danger of losing her life.
Police investigations are ongoing.
