Midweek at Fresher’s Week arrived all too soon, with events and visitors continuing on Campus. The members of the Gozo University Group switched between lectures and student activities as a steady flow of visitors was kept up at the organisation’s stand.GUG said it was kept busy with various appearances by distinguished guests, including President George Abela, Prime Minister Joseph Muscat and Minister for Education and Employment Evarist Bartolo. MPs Giovanna Debono and Frederick Azzopardi together with many other political figures also took the time to visit GUG and showed interest in their work with students at the University.

“Despite a long and hectic day on Campus,” GUG said it moved on at once with preparations for ‘Welcome is the Campus,’ a highly anticipated social event that has always been successful in bringing students together at the start of each academic year..
