The Gozo Business Chamber is, this autumn, focusing on the crafts industries in Gozo. In November a festival of crafts will celebrate the quality and range of crafts people that are so plentiful on the island.
As part of the programme on local crafts, an exhibition of crafts and applied art has been taking place at the Cittadella Centre for Culture and the Arts, the Citadel, which finishes this coming Wednesday, the 16th of October.
A wide range of items ‘created in Gozo’ can be seen and are available for purchase. The products range from work in stone to weaving; include contemporary work in ceramics and wood as well as traditional crafts, and foodstuffs.
Working for charity, the exhibition is supporting the OASI Foundation through collections.
The exhibition is open daily from 10.00am to 4.00pm and the public are encouraged not to miss the opportunity to visit this unusual exhibition before it ends this week.
