Young Gozitan singers placed second at ‘Prishtina Kids Fest’ in Kosovo

Loredana Agius, 10-years old and her brother Albert-Lauren, aged 8, who are from Ghajnsielem, Gozo, have again honoured the nation and this time round the success has come in Prishtine, Kosovo.
The singing competition known as the ‘Prishtina Kids Fest’ was held in Prishtine, Kosovo. Among the countries that were competing against Malta, were: Albania, Serbia, Montenegro, Sweden, Kosovo, Bulgaria, Romania, and Macedonia.
Albert-Lauren Agius classified second in the category between five and nine years while his sister Loredana also classified second in the category between ten and fifteen years.
Loredana and Albert-Lauren participated with original songs penned by Christopher Azzopardi and composed by Kaya (Priscilla Psaila). “The singer Kaya is also their vocal coach, guiding them onwards and upwards to reach their peak and achieve these awards for Malta, “the family of Loredana and Albert-Lauren said.
For Loredana, this was not her first international award. In fact Loredana won the first place award at the ‘Trixie Interantional Art Festival’ in Bulgaria and at ‘Tra La La festival’ in Macedonia.
The charming abilities of Loredana and Albert-Lauren were immediately noted by the Head of Delegations of Albania and Montenegro who invited them to sing in their respective countries.
