The Gozo SPCA is appealing for help in finding the owner of this dog, there is no collar for identification and it has been running around Kercem for the last few days.
The Centre in Victoria has no more space for dogs other than small ones and puppies, so sadly is unable to take the dog in.
With the weather changing, the streets are not the place for a dog to try and survive, so if anybody is willing to foster (and/or give the dog a permanent home if the owner doesn’t come forward), or can offer information that can help with finding the owner of this dog, then please email info@spca-gozo.org.

i don’t know if its me or what but i am living in malta.. i need to leave but i am stuck with 2 pets a 6 year old queen adelaide and a five and half old cat which is blind in one eye but does not inturrupt her mischief ways… both pets were dropped outside my doorstep when only a few hours old and i have been stuck with them since.. due to the fact that i was hard done in by a maltese landlord who owes me money and robbed by the maltese community i have’nt got enough funds to bring the pets with me and therefore they need to be rehomed.. i have been advertising for almost a year in the maltese community who are doing nothing to help but think they are great with their stalking antics as well as causing other distruption to my life.. i would be greatful if someone there in gozo could help and have these 2 pets rehomed with a thank you and appresiation it would be very much appreciated maura wallace-viel
