Malta Airport has said that a scam email is being circulated using the name of Malta International Airport plc.
The email claims an ATM card worth $6.5 million is available for delivery upon contacting the Federal Ministry of Finance in Nigeria, MIA said.
The airport said that “his request is false and MIA disassociates itself from the email. MIA has no relation to the Federal Ministry of Finance in Nigeria.”
MIA said the matter has also been reported to the police’s cybercrime unit and recipients should ignore and delete these emails.

I suspect that anyone with sufficient intelligence to power up a computer and login to an email account will have realised how ridiculous this is. But I may be wrong. 🙂
Yes Alan you are wrong. It never ceases to amaze me the number of people who fall for these stupid scams. In many ways I think they deserve all they get, or lose as the case may be.
