The Gozo University Group and Agenzija Zaghzagh are once again joining together to organise ‘Youth Gozo,’ a concept which encourages the participation of youth of all ages.

The organisers said that the two-day event, which takes place next Friday, the 29th and Saturday, the 30th of November, is three-fold, with each event related but nonetheless in a different context. Adding that they have “pushed the educative and social aspects concerning youth, both in formal and informal environments.”

The programme consists of:

Friday morning – Form 5 debate (social, formal).

Friday evening – Youth Expo. (social, informal) at Lucky Jacks, Downtown, Victoria, starting at 8.00pm, with a live performance from The Novel. There will be music, food and beverages, with various organisations present to explain what they do and how they involve the youth.

Saturday morning – Youth Conference (social, formal) at the Oratorju Conference Room, Victoria starting at 10.00am, talking about ‘Active Citizenship & EU Representation,’ a chance for those youth present to join in with the discussions, ask questions and get involved.

The Gozo University Group and Agenzija Zaghzagh said that many organisations will be taking part, as well as prominent figures, adding that they “encourage every and any young person to take part on the Friday evening and Saturday morning events in the programme.”
