Michael Hoeferer is the new Chairman for Malta International Airport

Malta International Airport has announced that at a meeting of the directors held on Wednesday 27th November, Mr Michael Hoeferer informed the board that he will be resigning from his position of chairman of the company, but shall be retaining his directorship.
He stated that in view of a change in his functions as an executive of Vienna International Airport, he would not be able to dedicate the time required by the chairmanship of the Company.
The board of directors appointed Mr Nikolaus Gretzmacher as chairman of the company. Mr Gretzmacher is a director of the Company and there is no change in the information reported about Mr Gretzmacher under listing rules 5.20 and 5.21.
Mr Gretzmacher was born in 1975. He graduated in Economics from the University of Vienna and joined the Business Development team in Vienna International Airport in 2003. Three years later, he was appointed Head of Strategic Planning and Shareholdings Management. In October 2011 he returned to Vienna Airport as Senior Vice President Operations.
