The Police have reported that a foreign couple were arrested earlier today over the theft of cash from a collection.
The incident took place at about 9.30am this morning at the Xaghra Parish Church.
If guilty I hope they get the book thrown at them.
Don’t be silly Mick, they will get one of the famous Maltese suspended sentences. They should be fined, jailed for a month and then sent back to wherever they came from and barred from ever returning.
Were they that hungry they had to steal? And from a Church…. The World is very very sick.
They deserve the jail forever, stealing money from poor people is a big crime.
