The Commissioner of Police, Mr Peter Paul Zammit addressed a press conference at the Police Headquarters.

The conference marks the launching of the 200th anniversary logo branded “200 sena – Min-Nies Ghan-Nies 1814-2014.” This will remain its emblem throughout the calendar year of 2014.

The 200th anniversary since the Malta Police Force was established will be celebrated on the 12th of July 2014.

The annual Police Calendar is also being launched today together with a one minute video ‘Fast forwarding 200 years of service’ marking the duties of the Police Force.
