Seminarians from the Sacred Heart Seminary in Victoria have spent half a day carrying out voluntary work cleaning up the garden at Angela House Children’s Home in Gwardamangia, run by the Ursoline nuns, who help children facing social difficulties.

The seminarians were first given a tour of the areas where refurbishment work is currently being carried out and they also had the opportunity to meet some of the children who are staying at the house, where the said they “could witness the nuns’ love and dedication, together with their commitment and personal sacrifice in carrying out their mission.”

During Lent, the Seminarians are collecting money from among members of the community of the Seminary and the students of the Minor Seminary. The money will be spent on monitor screens for Angela House.
