Xewkija Tigers beat SK Victoria Wanderers 4-3 at the Gozo Stadium this afternoon. Xewkija’s enthusiastic fans greeted their team with music, flag waving and yellow smoke that billowed throughout the stands.

The team had already been declared the winners of the GFA Division One Championship, following a win against Nadur Youngsters on the 30th of March. This was the sixth Championship win for the Xewkija Tigers.A parade with the team and fans followed this afternoon’s match, ending in a triumphant return to Xewkija with the cup.
