On the 10th and 11th May 2014, an international clean-up will take place in more than 20 Mediterranean countries under a five year campaign called ‘Let’s do it Mediterranean!’

‘Let’s Do It Malta’ are the local organisers of the local campaign, their website is available here.

Malta, as part of the Mediterranean, has joined this international effort to collect as much floating and deposited garbage as possible, raising awareness and demonstrating that problems of such magnitude can only be solved by working together.

As part of the massive national clean-up happening this weekend, the Gozo University Group and the Students’ Voice invite everyone to give a helping hand.

This Saturday’s morning they will be “invading” Hondoq for a couple of hours to clean-up whatever they can find. The groups will be meeting at 10.00am at Hondoq.

There will be multiple clean-ups going on that weekend so if you cannot make it for this one, there are other ways you can participate!
