Dr Miriam Dalli (Partit Laburista) was elected to the European Parliament earlier this evening, on the 23rd count with 37,533 votes.
Dr Dalli is the third candidate to be elected after almost three days of counting at the Naxxar Counting Hall. This was the first election that Dr Dalli had contested.
At the end of the 23rd count, Gozitan candidate for the Labour Party, Clint Camilleri had 23,202 votes.
